On Target Magazine
On Target is a focus magazine produced as required by the Directorate of Flight Safety. The objective of On Target is to educate Air Force operators on a single subject of interest in a user friendly, yet thorough fashion.
The issue is divided into two parts, “Accident Investigation” and “Operations”. Both areas have been significantly affected by technological improvements that will continue to impact safety in aviation. [ pdf version (5.9 MB) ] [ html version ]

This issue of On Target is intended to refresh some of those valuable lessons previously learned where human factors played a significant role. It is also intended to serve as a source of some valuable insight about human factors so that each and every one of us can increase our collective awareness and guard against the potential of an occurrence stemming from human factor errors.
