5 Wing Goose Bay is a vibrant base that conducts and supports a wide variety of operations including both joint and combined training. Located in Labrador, on the northeast coast of Canada, its strategic location helps the Canadian Armed Forces and the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) to protect North American airspace.

5 Wing’s primary mission is to support NORAD operations for the projection of air power on the north and northeast coasts of Canada.

5 Wing supports military training for the Canadian Armed Forces, the Allies and NORAD. It provides effective training facilities, adaptable infrastructures and a unique, austere and challenging training.

5 Wing is located at Canadian Forces Base Goose Bay.
