The CC-130 Hercules J-model is the newest and most Advanced Hercules aircraft flown by the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). This world-class aircraft is the workhorse of the RCAF. It is able to land and airdrop heavy loads of equipment, supplies ad personnel into hostile and austere environments, supporting military operations and exercises, including responses to domestic emergencies, international humanitarian missions and combat operations. Other models of the CC-130 Hercules are used by the RCAF for search and rescue in Canada and for air-to-air refuelling.
