Canadian Armed Forces members, wherever they are serving, extend compassion and help to local people, especially children and especially at Christmas, and do so with generosity and good humour.

Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army and Royal Canadian Air Force personnel visit hospitals and seniors’ homes, host Christmas parties for children and seniors, and collect food and necessities for hampers that they deliver throughout their communities.

This generosity is not new. It stretches from the Second World War to Korea, Eastern Europe and Africa to Canada in 2015.

Come with us on a quick photographic tour of Christmas giving, Canadian Armed Forces-style.
