Sergeant John Enright

Biography / November 15, 2016

Sergeant John Enright was born in Calgary, Alberta, however he is a true prairie boy living in Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. His commitment to service began as a member of both 191 West Winnipeg Rotary and 34 Sabre Air Cadet Squadrons. 

In 2002, he joined the Canadian Armed Forces as an Avionics Technician. After completion of Basic Training he was posted to Canadian Forces School of Aerospace Technology and Engineering at Canadian Forces Base Borden in Ontario where he completed his trades training. In 2005, he was posted to 4 Wing Cold Lake where he was employed on the CF-18 Hornet in various Squadrons. In 2011, he was posted to 431 Air Demonstration Squadron, Canadian Forces Snowbirds and served in various support positions including with the Air Maintenance Organization until he was promoted in July 2015 to his current rank of Sergeant.

Supported by his wife Connie and his three boys, Sergeant Enright is looking forward to the challenge as the Team’s Crew Chief Aviation Technician in 2017.
