Introduction

As Canada's Utility Tactical Transport Helicopter (UTTH), the CH-146 Griffon fills many roles for the Canadian Forces. The aircraft can be configured for various missions at home and abroad, including Search and Rescue (SAR), surveillance and reconnaissance, casualty evacuation, humanitarian efforts and tactical airlift of equipment and troops. Day or night, the Griffon can operate in extreme weather conditions to protect our troops and civilians.
