Introduction

Canada's newest Search and Rescue (SAR) helicopter, the CH-149 Cormorant is faster and more capable than its predecessor, the CH-113 Labrador. From steep mountain ranges to hundreds of kilometres out at sea, the CH-149 can fly search and rescue technicians (SAR Techs) anywhere in the country through even the most severe weather conditions.
