  • McDonnell F2H-3 BansheeAn RAF Coastal Command torpedo bomber used for mine laying and reconnassaince, the Beaufort had four .303 caliber machine guns and carried either a torpedo or 1,500 pounds of bombs at a top speed of 265 mph.

  • McDonnell F2H-3 BansheeThe Beaufort was designed in 1937 to combine the requirements of the British Air Ministry for a general reconnaissance bomber and a land-based torpedo bomber. It served in the RCAF in 149(TB) Squadron in Western Air Command in North America and 415 Squdron in Coastal Command overseas as torpedo bombers.
